The Daydream Matchmaker is a book recommendation tool operated by Daydream Made LLC. It uses your quiz answers to suggest books from our curated inventory. Recommendations are suggestions based on your stated preferences — they are not guarantees of satisfaction.
Our books are individually wrapped, one-of-a-kind items. Availability is not guaranteed. A book shown in your results may sell out before you complete your purchase. We are not responsible for inventory changes between the time you receive your recommendation and the time you attempt to buy.
All purchases are handled through our Shopify store at daydreammade.com. Payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns are governed by Shopify's terms and our store policies. The matchmaker itself does not process payments or handle orders.
Our products are "blind date" books — the title and author are intentionally concealed until you receive the book. By using this service and purchasing a book, you acknowledge and accept that you are choosing a book without knowing its specific title or author.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that recommendations will match your taste, that the service will be available without interruption, or that results will be error-free.
Daydream Made LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific book in question.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: automated scraping, attempting to extract book identities from our system, circumventing rate limits, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
